The Sunday 3 is a weekly roundup of 3 things I’m loving, moved by or thinking about—from self-care tips to recipes to anti-racist resources. Catch a preview on my Insta Stories & get all the deets (and see past weeks’ editions) at hellogalbraith.com/sunday3.
Sometimes shortcuts (that are healthy, delicious and save you time) are the best thing in the world. Hope these three will help make your week ahead even just a little bit easier (& more fun).
1. Nut Butter Bar Mix from Trader Joe’s
This boxed mix is a no-bake, gluten-free healthy-ish dessert that tastes so damn good. And it only calls for a few extra ingredients that are *most likely* in your pantry. (Hello, nut butter.) Easy peasy!
2. The Always Pan by Our Place
I had my eye on this gorgeous pan for quite some time. If you like keeping things minimal (or just simple), you’ll love that it’s meant to replace 8 (!) traditional pieces of cookware. It has so many awesome features, from the included wooden spatula that rests right on the handle to the a steamer basket to the pour spouts (such a small thing, but so important!) to the gorgeous array of colors (I went with Sage). It’s become a go-to for pretty much all of our cooking. (I signed up for their newsletter to get updates on when they have discounts and sales!)
3. A mantra for this week: How can I make things easier for myself?
Another way to put it: How am I making things more difficult than they need to be? Oprah shares this question in her book The Path Made Clear and it really struck me this past week. I often put tons of pressure on myself to act a certain way or say the right things or check off way too many things on my to-do list, and, well, it can be exhausting. My goal this week is to create moments of ease for myself. To expect a little less. To give myself a bit of a break! I hope you can do that, too, however that looks for you: maybe it’s signing off of work earlier or getting a walk in first thing in the morning or just having a few present moments with your cup of coffee.
Wishing you a week that’s peaceful & full of ease.
Heather xoxo
