I've been on a bit of a t-shirt kick lately, can you tell? I've always loved bold, sassy, smart tees. In high school, I collected ones that said "I rule" and "I rock" (there's a subtle, but very important difference, ha!). There was also the hot-pink t-shirt that had a merry-go-round on it (looking all sweet and innocent) and said "Love is like a merry-go-round, stay on long enough and you'll throw up." I don't know why, I thought that was hilarious. I still think it's pretty funny.
Today, the t-shirts I collect still have personality—it just makes them so fun! Plus, literally wearing the things I believe, spelled out across my chest, feels daring. These Rad tees really hit home for me (see last week's post, too). I love the fantasy-filled idea of all the #lifegoals on my tee above. Isn't there a part of us all that wants to take a trip to the moon, or play hide-and-seek with a fairy, like Tinkerbell in Peter Pan (I believe!), or ride into the sunset on the back of a snow-white unicorn... or maybe that's just me?! The one that I especially love is "swimming with mermaids," although, whenever I swim in the ocean with my mom, I'm basically swimming with a mermaid.
Have a fantastic weekend, and to all of you on the East Coast, I hope you're staying warm and cozy if/when this blizzard hits us!
